Being born and raised locally in Reno, NV, my family has always taken a strong interest in customer service as well as pet service. Although I studied Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno, I have also been working in the veterinary field for over 15 years. I love what I do, and I do what I love. With the Grand Opening of Advanced PetCare on July 18, 2011, I am on a mission to redefine veterinary medicine in Northern Nevada. It is our goal to deliver the highest quality healthcare to our clients and patients in a cost-effective manner. Caring is my passion, and my love for pets and their owners remains the focus in our hospital as well. We are going to make every client feel like family when they are with us in our warm, comfortable hospital. I also believe it is my mission to enforce being proactive with veterinary medicine and addressing pet issues before they even start. I believe in strong client education through the use of the most advanced technology and a superior team of employees. I live by the idea of helping to revolutionize the way pet medicine is offered to our community. At Advanced PetCare, we are no strangers to tough times, and we realize the true value of receiving quality healthcare for pets at a reasonable cost. With my dedication and passion, I know you and your pets will receive the best without losing the loving touch I so strongly believe in. Ever since I can remember my family has always had pets. My house has always been a zoo, and my passion for animals has always been strong. Animals have changed and determined my life for the better. I have been a member of animal hospitals for almost four years, and I could not be happier. I love what I do for a living more than anything in the world. I plan to remain in the veterinary field for the rest of my life. I am currently attending Truckee Meadows Community College to complete my core and management classes. Through the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) I will become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). The process is long and in depth, but I am so excited to begin my career with Dr. Kalivoda and the Team at Advanced PetCare of Northern Nevada. I grew up in Carson City, and I just recently moved to Sparks to begin my new adventure. I am very thankful to be a resident of Nevada, and I plan to live local and raise my family. I have three beautiful girls and one boy I am proud to call mine: Silver Moon and Babe are my rescue dogs, and Hamachi and Salt are my adopted cats. They always make my day a better one.
